  1. Monday May 19 I had the honor of meeting Lex and the family of Corp. Lee. As a EOD/EDD K9 handler I know how special the K9’s are. They are not just dog’s there family. It was a very special and honorable thing the U.S.M.C. did to allow the family of Corp. Lee to adopt Lex. I pray for the safety of all our Troop’s and there loyal K9’s over sea’s. Keep up the great work keeping our Country Free. Burt Strickland EDD

Awesome. Another very fine story about marine and his friend. Read many like that.

  3. Absolutely priceless and precious. My heart and prayers goes to the Lee family and the special K9 dog who served alongsde him.
I also keep a prayer for all Military members and their families as I a am a daughter of a veteran, sister of a veteran, and a proud aunt to a nephew currently assigned in Matthews AFB finishing officers school.

  4. R.I.P. Dustin and Lex, thank you both for your service!

  5. What an amazing heart warming story…I just learned a few moments ago that Lex has passed on…I think our canine Heroes also should be Honored…after all they perform a Duty to our Country and risk their lives….
